Your Petitioners possess such qualifications,

namely, the said Arthur Jackson the qualifications of

B.Sc. and Ph.D., and the said John Lewis Tetley the

qualifications of B.A. (Cantab.) and A.I.C.

10. That the principle referred to in the preceding

paragraph is generally recognised in the Colonial

Service appears to be amply indicated by the provisions

made for First Class passages for Officers holding in

other Colonies &c. appointments similar to those held

by Your Petitioners.
